Sign up for Creative Writing!

Juniors---do you enjoy storytelling?  LOVE writing scripts, short stories, poems and/or novels?  Then sign up for Creative Writing with Mr. Reese!!!  This is an exciting course that explores different writing styles and formats, and can strengthen your expressive skills.
For those who are already in Creative Writing 1, sign up for Creative Writing 2 and it counts as your Senior English course!!!!!

Production and Presentations

Here's the schedule for today, Wed. 1/16/13:

Period 3:  Filming upstairs (Bedroom Scene); prep for presentations.

Period 5:  Presentations to the class.

Period 7: 15-minute team meeting to prepare for filming, including schedule revisions and delivery; Presentations to the class.

Remember, your presentation is part of your grade for this project.  Use your script, and be professional!

Project is Due

Periods 3 & 7:
Your 5-slide Power Point and half-page script are due BEFORE the end of class today, Mon. 1/14.  Check your work to ensure that it meets all requirements before submission.  All work will be submitted digitally (see below).  You are encouraged to print a copy of your script, for use during your presentation.

COPY YOUR WORK ONTO THE PORTABLE HARD DRIVE, AND SAVE TO THE DROPBOX FOLDER!!

Period 5:

Saving to the DropBox Folder (printed instructions on front board):

1.     Save a file on your desktop and name it exactly like this:

ppt(firstname)(lastinitial)

example: pptshelbyw

 (NO PUNCTUATION OR SYMBOLS!!)

2.     Click the happy face on your dock, called The Finder

 
3.     On the left sidebar under Shared,
click  on 32D111 Drop Box. Then
double click the folder named
dtadmin’s Public Folder
to open it up.
Enter YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD to Connect.


4.     Open your class folder 
5.     Finally, drag your file with your name from your desktop on top of of the folder for your class. You will see a green plus sign, and your
work will be copied into the
 folder.
